Handling Bookmarks

 

What are Bookmarks: Bookmarks allow you to store links to important web sites with just one click. When you click on this Bookmark button on the toolbar, the current web page is added to a list of Bookmarks. Viewing Bookmarked Pages: You can view a list of such bookmarked pages by clicking on this small arrow next to the Bookmark button. Later, when you want to come back to this page, select it from the drop-down list. The web page will then be loaded in your current window.
Deleting Bookmarks: Click on this small arrow next to the Bookmark button and then select 'Delete Bookmark' from the drop-down menu. In the following 'Delete Bookmark' dialog, select the item that you want to delete and then click on the 'Delete' button. Delete more items if you want. Click 'Done' to close the dialog.
Renaming Bookmarks: Click on this small arrow next to the Bookmark button and then select 'Rename Bookmark' from the drop-down menu. In the following 'Rename Bookmark' dialog, select the item that you want to rename. Make necessary changes in the edit box. Rename more items if you want. Click 'OK' to close the dialog.
Important Points: The list of Bookmarks is stored separately for each WindowSurfer User. The oldest items from the list of Bookmarks are automatically deleted if they exceed the limit set by you. To set this limit please go to menu 'Options'/'WindowSurfer Options' and select the General tab. Enter a value between 5 and 200 in this field: This is done to prevent the list from growing too long.
