Quick Links To Your Frequently Visited Web-Sites.
The Sidebar shown in the image here is the main
control-center of WindowSurfer. A User creates his or her own
LINKS to one's most visited web-sites in this Sidebar. These Links provide
the User with powerful automatic surfing and login functionalities
available in WindowSurfer.

Instant Access to Multiple Web Pages.
WindowSurfer lets you load multiple web pages in one
screen under different Tabs. There are 2 kinds of Tabs - in the
left-hand Sidebar and in a row at the top. To switch
view to another page, just click on its Tab button. It comes
into view instantly without having to reload.

Automatically Load Web Pages On Start-up.
You have the option to preset selected web pages to load
automatically when you start WindowSurfer. You can start
working with a loaded page, like reading news, while the others
are being loaded in the background. This makes the best use of
your internet connection by making its full use and reducing its idle time. The
web pages are waiting to be seen by you, not the other way around.

Automatic Login To Online Accounts.
WindowSurfer can login automatically
to various web sites that require a user name
and password. For example, your email accounts, Online Bank accounts, credit-card
accounts, utility accounts, web-pages on your company's intranet, etc. While adding
a Link, just enter the login information once and you don't have to
remember it. You have the option to automatically login to that page
either on application start-up or on pressing the Load button. Your
passwords are stored on your own computer in a strongly encrypted form for maximum security.

Stop Pop up windows.
You can allow or block unsolicited Pop-up windows for individual Tabs.
Blocking does not interfere with your navigation or opening of new windows.
You can get rid of pop-up windows for a smooth and better surfing experience.
This speeds up your surfing as the Pop-Up windows are killed before loading,
thus saving the internet bandwidth.

Unique Search Interface - side-by-side search.
WindowSurfer has a unique side-by-side interface for searching the
web using Google, MSN and Yahoo search engines, all in one place. The
search results from Google/MSN/Yahoo are shown in the left-hand window and when you click
on one of the links, the web-site is shown in right-hand window. This avoids unnecessary
movement back and forth to look at the search results. WindowSurfer also enables you to move back and
forward between all search results sequentially even though the search may
have been made using different search engines.

One-click Bookmarking
of web-pages for later viewing.
Bookmarking is a super-fast way to mark an interesting web-page
for viewing later on. This is a kind of temporary favorites list as well as a to-do list. Just
one click on the Bookmark icon and you are done. Later on, you
can click on the Bookmark drop-down arrow button and view the
desired web page.

Security.
All
your passwords are stored on your own computer, not on the internet, in a strongly encrypted form to
ensure security and privacy. This information is never sent to anyone except
to the website being logged into for your automatic login purpose.

Multiple users with individual settings.
WindowSurfer lets you create many different user
accounts. Persons sharing the same computer, as in a family, can have
their own settings, links, usernames and passwords even if they use the
same account for Windows login. A user's settings are accessible only with the user's individual application password which
is used for login to WindowSurfer.

Lock Account
automatically after your set timeout period.
WindowSurfer enables you to
set a timeout period of inactivity after which it locks your account in
order to prevent misuse by someone else. To unlock it, just enter your
application password. All your browser windows stay the way they were
before.You may choose to
lock account instantly from File/Lock menu at any
time.

Portable Settings.
You can Export and Import a user's settings to disk for backing up or transferring
to another computer. Adequate security is built into this functionality to prevent
misuse of your passwords.

Favorites Management.
WindowSurfer provides a better
interface in the Sidebar for handling favorites. It remembers the last
favorites folder you were working with and shows it open the next time you
start WindowSurfer. It supports complete drag & drop, quick adding of
favorites and easy creation of new favorites folders. Favorites are shared
with Internet Explorer - changing favorites in WindowSurfer will reflect
in Internet Explorer, and
vice-versa.

Windows - viewing
and arrangement.
Move between
full-screen and regular view with F12 key. Auto-Hide or show the Sidebar
with F11 key. Move between different tabs with Alt+Z or Alt+C. Switch
between new browser windows with Ctrl+Tab. Windows menu has options for
'Auto Arrange', 'Close All Except Main Window', besides other regular menu
items.

Excellent user
interface.
WindowSurfer has been designed
with the aim of providing an excellent user experience. For an example,
creating a Link is as easy as dragging the URL from address bar and
dropping it over the Sidebar. It supports advanced drag & drop
operations and has several keyboard shortcuts for common
tasks.
